About me
I’m a Reader in the Statistics and Probability Group in the Department of Mathematics at the University of York, UK.
Research
My research interests are primarily in applied probability. In particular:
- mixing times of Markov chains
- perfect simulation
- coupling theory
- interacting particle systems.
Outreach
I regularly run outreach sessions at local schools, and from 2017 - 2020 I was a London Mathematical Society Holgate Session Leader.
